Taking these needs as the basis, design for the co-working was developed. Unlike conventional cubicled office spaces, QA co-working incorporates a diverse mix of working and recreational spaces. This diversity has been achieved through integrating collaborative zones within close proximity of working clusters. Variety of collaborative zones have been integrated within the office to instigate interactions and networking opportunities. In addition, combination of enclosed and open working zones are planned to support individuals and organizations of various scales. This flexibility of option befitting the individuals creates a sense of comfort and ownership.
Legibility and Comfort
Unlike traditional office spaces, where acquaintance is a time bound factor, the impression of space for legibility is critical in co-workings. Various design strategies are incorporated to interact with the co-workers instincts and create an aware picture of the space, easing their movement.
Visual Transparency
The various zones seamlessly conjoin as a holistic space with visual connectivity for ease of movement. But for the purpose of pragmatic functioning, gradual level differences and translucent partitions are incorporated.
